Subsidies and tax relief for solar PV and storage in Poland (as of 6.10.2026)

An owner of a single-family house can deduct spending on PV and storage under the thermal modernisation relief, up to 53,000 PLN in total.

Mój Prąd
Edition 6.0 accepted applications from 2.09.2024 to 12.09.2025, with a budget of 1.85 bn PLN and more than 121,000 applications. The call is closed and the official programme pages give no information about a next edition. Media reports of "Mój Prąd 7.0" are not confirmed by NFOŚiGW documents.

Przydomowe magazyny energii (home storage)
Part 1 (Recovery Plan funds, PV with storage) had two calls in 2026 (30.03–8.05 and 8.06–19.06) and is closed. Part 2 (Modernisation Fund) covers storage only: applications from 20.10.2026 to 1.10.2027 or until the 1 bn PLN budget runs out. The grant is up to 30% of costs, at most 800 PLN per kWh, up to 16,000 PLN for net-billing. See Home energy storage.
Czyste Powietrze
The official "Na co i ile?" list covers heat-source replacement, heating installations, insulation, windows and doors, heat-recovery ventilation, and an audit with an energy performance certificate. PV systems are not on the list (as changed from 20.07.2026).
Thermal modernisation relief (ulga termomodernizacyjna)
For owners and co-owners of single-family houses, up to 53,000 PLN in total per taxpayer (each spouse has a separate limit).
Covers PV systems and, from 1.01.2025, electricity and heat storage.
VAT invoices are required; amounts covered by a subsidy cannot be deducted.
The project must be completed within 3 years; unused deductions carry forward for 6 years.
