How much does a 10 kW solar system cost?

According to IEO, the average micro-installation cost in 2024 was 4,069 PLN per kW, and the typical new system was 10.3 kW. The exact price depends on panels, inverter, roof and formalities, so compare offers with the equipment and scope listed.

What is the prosumer deposit?

An account credited with the value of energy fed into the grid multiplied by 1.23. It pays for energy taken from the grid for 12 months; after that the funds expire and part of the unused amount is refunded.

Who notifies the grid operator about a solar system?

The owner, or the installation crew under a power of attorney. The notification goes to the distribution system operator that owns the local grid.

Is Mój Prąd still available in 2026?

No. Edition 6.0 closed on 12.09.2025 and NFOŚiGW has not announced another one. For batteries, "Przydomowe magazyny energii, part 2" opens on 20.10.2026.

Must an installer have a UDT certificate?

No, the UDT renewable installer certificate is voluntary. Grid operators also accept installations by people with an electrical operating qualification or construction qualifications in electrical installations.
